"10/10 - Absolutely fantastic stay at Dovecot - we couldn't have wished for better, everything we needed was there. Bedding and beds were so comfortable and we all slept well. The garden area was a delight to chill out in and the views breath-taking. I'm missing Dovecot and we will be back next year! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!"

"5/5 Super spot in Salcombe and a crisp house, recently refurbished - Excellent beds, especially the bunk room! Lovely views from the master bedroom. Parking can be tight (on street) but you can normally find something nearby."

"We had the great pleasure of staying at Dovecot recently - I believe we may have been the first guests! 

The house is fabulous, and has been renovated exquisitely - everything has been thought of.

The kitchen and dining spaces are perfect, the sitting room cosy with a lovely fire should it be cold, and the super-comfortable beds and perfect bathrooms are exactly what's needed to relax and enjoy your stay.

The views from the master bedroom are breathtaking and there’s a charming nook at the bottom of the master bedroom stairs which has been made into a stunning single bed.  

It feels like a home from home which is something when renting a holiday house you don’t always find.

"We had the most magical time at Dovecot a few weekends ago.

The house was immaculate with comfort throughout. 

Due to the fact we were an all adult party I ended up in one of the bunk beds - though this is not very generous terminology for them.  I could have been in a double bed as it was so spacious, cosy and beautifully designed with lovely squishy duvet and pillows.  The master bedroom is spectacular with incredible views. 

This is definitely a place you want to come and stay with adult friends or perfect for two families.  The well stocked kitchen and smart TV just added to the ease of being there.   The big glass concertina doors in the kitchen gave us lots of light to enjoy the big skies and admire the beautiful decked outside space and large shower house - ideal for the summer having come back from the beach. It was January so we had windy weather, ideal for blustery walks and a delicious pub lunch!  

We cannot wait to go back again soon - and we'd definitely re-book Dovecot."
