"9/10 - Combe Down is a beautiful home with a very high attention to detail, gorgeous interior decor and garden/planting design. The beds are notably super comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms. We are a family of 5 adults aged 19 - 55 and had a couple of friends with us too. We made good use of the BBQ and the hot-tub.
We had no problem walking into town (it's 30 minutes to Fore Street) and a couple of times we left a car in the Park and Ride at the top of town.
Communication with Amanda at Salcombe Abode was timely and even included a useful tip about the local firework event which would otherwise have missed.
We all loved staying here and would certainly choose it again. Many thanks for having us!"

"Such a fabulous place to stay. The house was really well equipped and we felt right at home. The view was absolutely stunning and the gardens were pristine. It felt like a proper luxury stay. The bedrooms were roomy and beds really comfortable. House in a great location and bus stop is right outside (busses to Salcombe every hour) only 10 mins drive from beaches east and west."

Location was great, beautiful walks into Salcombe.

"We loved staying at Combe Down.
A master class in interior design and functionality, it has all the mod-cons and is really well thought through.
The views from the patio are breathtaking and the location is good if you don't mind a 20 minute walk into Salcombe.
Local village pub in Malborough (19 mins walk) is friendly and the food rumoured to be amongst the best near Salcombe.
