Accommodation Details
This abode is modern, bright, airy, and contemporary, offering luxury accommodation, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms across a split level house.
The main entrance is just a few steps down from the private driveway at the end of a private quiet road off Bonfire Hill. You are greeted by a wonderful contemporary and modern style holiday home which is so welcoming.
From here you can head into the spacious and stunning living room, with ample sofas to accomodate all of your holiday group and a wonderful swing chair which is perfect to curl up in and dive into a book. The living room is a bright airy space, with large patio doors that open out on the first of the two private terraces. This room also includes a log fire, large TV and coffee table. There are inviting views of Salcombe estuary from the living room to enjoy.
From the hallway, you head up a couple of steps towards the large kitchen area, then the dining space or onto the bedroom & bathroom areas.
The kitchen area is a large open plan space, with yet more panoramic views of the estuary to enjoy while doing a spot of washing up at the kitchen sink. The kitchen is spacious and modern, with ample work surfaces for meal preparation. It has an oven, hob, large american style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster and is well stocked for crockery & glasses. There is also a spacious breakfast bar at the end of the kitchen with accompanying bar stools, enabling guests to sit and chat whilst other prepare meals in the kitchen. Furthermore there a couple of comfy chairs and small coffee table to enjoy a quiet coffee and relax to one side of the kitchen space.
The dining space is accessed off the kitchen down a couple of steps, providing a great space for guests to gather and enjoy meals together. There is a large table that can comfortably accommodate all guests staying at this abode. The dining space is a bright and light space which provides direct access to a further large terrace, with outside dining furniture for alfresco dining.
There is also a large utility room which provides a washing machine and tumble drier, together with sink and ample storage. There is access to outside off the utility room.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Beacon House, Salcombe has four luxury & stylish bedrooms to welcome guests.
The main bedroom provides a luxury bedroom, together with stunning views of the Salcombe estuary to enjoy from bed. This bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobes, drawers and access to it's own ensuite shower room.
The second ensuite bedroom also provides views of Salcombe estuary and has a king size bedroom with storage space for guests' belongings. This bedroom also has its own ensuite shower room.
The third ensuite bedroom has two single beds, set of drawers for storage and has an accessible ensuite shower room for those with mobilty issues. There is direct access to this bedroom for those with limited mobility from the parking area.
The fourth bedroom has two single beds and storage space for clothes and luggage.
There is a further shower room off the utility room space for use by all guests.
All bed linen and towels are included in the abode rental cost (excluding beach towels).
Terraces and Outside space
This abode benefits from two separate terraces - both of which enjoy fantastic views of the Salcombe estuary.
The main terrace is accessed off the dining room space and has a large table and benches - making it perfect for alfresco dining together.
The second terrace is accessed off the living room space and is a great spot to savour the full beauty of the Salcombe estuary.
There is a further quiet spot with a bistro set of table & chairs off the back door which is ideal if you wish to escape and enjoy a quiet cup of tea with a book.
Parking
There is parking for approximately five cars on the private driveway at Beacon House, Salcombe. The driveway is situated at the end of a private road.
