"Our party stayed at The Holt to attend a family wedding in Salcombe. The Holt was lovely and the child in our party was very excited about the upside down house (bedrooms on the entrance floor, living space upstairs). There was a welcome pack for our arrival with some fab local treats, beds made up with fresh towels and hot tub (extra) warmed up and read to plunge in! It has wonderful views of the Devonshire countryside. It has off road parking for 2 vehicles and just down the road from the bus stop direct to/ from Totnes for those using public transport. Amanda & Salcombe Abode were very helpful and incredibly quick to respond to communications. Would highly recommend and stay again."

"5/5 - We had a relaxing stay in this comfortable, clean spacious house. 
The location was perfect for a holiday by the sea visiting old haunts. Easy walks to town and to North Sands.

"5/5 - After our holiday to Kos was cancelled we quickly turned to see if we could find something in Devon, at 8am in the morning Salcombe Abode were quick to respond to a request, get everything organised for us to head down the same day. 

Big thank you to house keeping who turned the house round ready for us - you could smell the fresh linen/ towels as you walked in. 

Great location for getting into Salcombe, plus 2 of our favourite places to eat the Winking Prawn and South sands. Also great for a longer walk to Mill brook Inn for an amazing Sunday roast. The kitchen was well equipped with ample fridge/ freezer space/ glasses mugs and cutlery.

We had an unexpected few days in Salcombe and stayed at The Holt. The house is beautifully presented and very spacious. The decor and furnishings are lovely and it is incredibly well equipped with utensils etc, and has wonderful views across the countryside from the lounge.
Location is great, just a short walk to the centre of town where ferries run to all the beaches so we didn’t need to use the car. 
Would highly recommend! "

" We had a lovely week at The Holt, Salcombe. It was perfect for us, as a holiday group of 2 couples. 
The house is spacious, open plan, rooms of a great size and very clean, with a lovely garden. The BBQ was an added bonus. 
We really couldn’t fault this holiday home. 
It's a lovely location - just 10 minute walk from town, and Salcombe itself is a beautiful place with lots to do. 
The whole week was so straight forward -  we had no concerns and we felt that it was sensibly priced. 
I would highly recommend this holiday home to my friends and family and plan to return again in the near future. "

Our booking was over new year and we had a wonderful time.

The house was beautifully decorated and hosted 3 couples perfectly! Had everything we needed and more. It’s in a great location as  close to everything. Very clean property with lovely fresh linen. Super useful that cleaning materials and condiments were provided.

" We all thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Holt in Salcombe.

The House is spotless, spacious yet cosy and very comfortable with everything you need. The children loved the upside down house aspect too!

Its conveniently located for our favourite North Sands beach and the Winking Prawn and close to all other amenities. 

Stunning views, beautifully decorated and very peaceful. There is so much to do in and around Salcombe. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others."
