"5/5 - Perfect place to explore Salcombe from. Right in the centre of town, so everything is walkable. No parking, but a long-stay car park is only about 20 mins away, and a short-term car park for loading and unloading is just across the road. The place is clean and comfortable with amazing views across the harbour from the sitting room and the back garden. Easy enough to eat in, or there are numerous pubs and restaurants within 5 mins of the door. The rooms are spread over 4 floors with stairs between, so may not suit everyone."

"This is an outstanding property in all respects.
We have been holidaying in Salcombe for decades, renting many properties through numerous agencies.
The property description is accurate.
It is a family home, used by the owners for their family and therefore well thought through. Everything works and, works well.
It does not, however, feel like you are staying in someone else's place as some holiday rentals do.
It is equipped and presented to the highest of standards with tasteful decor and user friendly gadgetry throughout. The beds are top quality and a good night's sleep is guaranteed here.
The position on Fore street is wonderful and allows for the easiest of departures in the morning, to the ferry, the pontoons or the coffee shops in the town.
The views from the top floor living area over the harbour are a delight to wake up to, come rain or shine and the views for the top (of three!) patios, is sublime.
You are close to the action but The Brewery is the perfect retreat too.
We will certainly re book. This is a great find, a hidden secret in the heart of this fabulous town."


"The Brewery is a really lovely property, right in the centre of Salcombe, but set back from the road, so feels very private. The sunny, tiered terrace behind the house is an amazing space, with beautiful views of the estuary from the top level. The two main bedrooms are large and beautifully furnished. The third twin room on the ground floor is smaller and darker but still lovely. There is plenty of room to safely store paddle boards, life jackets, etc, outside. Modern, clean and spacious, this house is definitely somewhere we will return to."
