Situated  on  the peaceful Beadon development, Shipshape offers an  ideal setting for your Salcombe holiday adventure. A 15-minute walk takes you to the heart of Salcombe, while a  walk down Beadon Lane leads to the sandy wonders of North Sands beach.

This light and airy holiday home provides a warm welcome across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ideal for up to eight guests, with Fridays being the main changeover day. Shipshape is accessed via a series of steps from the allocated parking.

Bedrooms:

Discover a thoughtful arrangement of bedrooms across split levels. The mezzanine floor hosts one twin and one double bedroom, both facing the front. Ascend to the first floor to find the main bedroom with a king size bed and another bedroom with twin singles, each offering delightful garden and countryside views.

All bedrooms feature ample storage, bedside lighting, and mirrors, with the master bedroom equipped with a hairdryer.

All bed linen and towels are included in the rental cost, excluding beach towels.

Bathroom and Shower Room:

Enjoy modern bathroom facilities at Shipshape, including a first-floor bathroom with a bath and power shower, and a ground-floor shower room. 

Open Plan Living Space:

The ground-floor living area is a bright and inviting space, tastefully decorated with a neutral colour palette and subtle nautical touches. Enjoy ample seating, a smart TV, DVD player, smart speaker and sliding patio doors opening to the garden with  expansive views across the valley. 

Modern Kitchen & Dining:

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with modern conveniences (inc. electric cooker with ceramic hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer). 

The kitchen is well equipped with a great range of crockery and glasses, together with iron & ironing board, electric mixer and electric blender, Lavazza coffee maker and milk frother, and the all important wine cooler for alfresco drinks on the patio. 

The adjoining dining area features a large table, creating a perfect space for communal meals and holiday planning.

Outside Space 

Step into a spacious, garden featuring a large lawn, well-established planting, and a patio with BBQ, table, and chairs for all. The south-facing aspect  is sheltered by mature shrubs and trees, creating an ideal spot for relaxation or alfresco dining. 

The garden is delightful space for children to enjoy with appropriate supervision. 

Parking

There is parking for one car on the shared driveway, with additional on-road parking on surrounding roads if required.

  • Please note that the accommodation is accessed via some steps to the front door and so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues
