Steadfast, Iconic, Dutiful - We honour Our Queen

All of us at Salcombe Abode are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. As our much loved and respected longest serving monarch, we remember her lifelong devotion to public service here in the United Kingdom, across the Commonwealth and around the world. She provided a figurehead of national unity and stability at a time of enormous change. 

Her legacy as a British icon of exceptional integrity inspires us to follow her example in everything we do - from our commitment to quality, care for our guests and our environment, and ensuring a positive social impact of our practices. She led at all times with a quiet determination and selfless devotion and has been all that is the very best of us. Her unfaltering commitment during her years in service will remain a huge inspiration to us all.

Our Current Operations  

With many changes to the local, national and international calendar, we have entered unprecedented times for us all. 

At Salcombe Abode, we remain fully operational, hosting our wonderful guests and working away more quietly than usual behind the scenes.

We'd like our team to be able to pay their respects to Her Majesty the Queen on the day of her state funeral. Our offices will therefore be closed on Monday 19th September, except for urgent matters for guests staying in our abodes. We thank you for your understanding. 

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all those affected in whatever way by the passing of Her Majesty The Queen, especially our community and those that knew her best, as we process this historic news together.
